Executive Meeting Minutes
Each year the One Planet network holds a series of meetings where stakeholders from across the network gather to discuss progress, lessons learned and strategic priorities for advancing on SCP priorities.
The flagship Executive Committee Meeting brings together the broadest range of participants, from One Planet programme representatives, to the representatives of the 10YFP Board, to other key stakeholders from various constituencies. The ExCom Meeting is an opportunity for these stakeholders to connect with one another in the same forum, to share past experiences and brainstorm on ways for the One Planet network to have the most impact moving forward.
The 10YFP Board consists of ten representatives of Member States from across the UN regions. The Board sets the high-level direction and priorities of the 10YFP and their meetings are an opportunity to discuss the strategic direction forward.
The Coordination Desk meeting brings together representatives of all six One Planet network programmes to take a deeper dive into the operationalisaiton of the priorities which are discussed at the ExCom meeting and Board meetings. As the day-to-day operators of the programmes, the collaboration amongst the different Coordination Desks is key to advancing concretely on different priorities.
Programme Joint Co-ordination Desk Calls
In addition to the annual meetings, the Coordination Desks of all six programmes meet virtually on a monthly basis in order to update one another on ongoing activities and stay aware of opportunities for cross-programme collaboration.
