Life Cycle Analysis Training

Training representatives from public institutions in the management of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) data and national database of inventories. The use of LCA will lead to more inform decisions by policy makers and will improve information for consumers. Training is completed. A second training is planned for 2018 to provide further capacitation on LCA. Further activities will be developed under the IKI project in Peru Representatives from several Ministries, Industry, Environment, Energy, etc, have been trained and have now a better understanding of LCA and how can be used to develop policy work. The training has generated a bigger interest from Peru to develop a National LCA database that will be publicly accesible helping consumers to learn more about the environmental impacts of different sectors and products.
